How many normally would you normally expect to make it to adulthood from this stage?

Maybe its time to put some of those 10g tanks to use to separate Tesla from the others?

Jim, to answer your question – in theory they all could. There haven’t been any losses in a few days now, and before that they were pretty low too (my guess is that most losses from the 310 eggs occured shortly after hatch, which has been my time of greatest issues always). The big problem will be whether they start killing each other off or not.

Rbolton – not *quite* yet, they’re not even 2 weeks old yet. But yes, soon, I will probably be snagging some of the 5.5 gallons set up as SW now for some of the choicest fish. The PROBLEM with that however, is that if the fish are not active feeders, it’s like throwing them in a desert.

I don’t have an answer for you, I’d just hate to see them kill each other off before they even have a chance to show us their full patterning!
You keep posting fry that look better than anyone could ever expect at this age for F1s. It almost start looking like the lightning gene could be dominant/codominant. If that is true these might be cheap before we know it.

So very glad that you were the man who ended up with PNG’s famous clownfish. I know from contacts in PNG and SEASMART program, that we are very proud of your progress and kind of feel like it is one of our own off spring. Is that weird? Well done Pappa! PS, your son is adorable!! Take care.
