F1 PNG White Stripe Maroon Clownfish, BZWS2
Remarks:
While robust like all the offspring, this fish is not without its flaws.  I don’t like the notched forehead shape.  Gills look to be a little bit short, but that may change as the fish continues to grow and mature.
The most standout feature of this fish is the multiple spots on both sides of the fish.  I do not anticipate these spots to be something indicative of anything genetic at this time, but current experiences with Gold Flake Maroons are starting to suggest that there may be a genetic component at play here.  It’s a mystery.
Ordinarily, a fish like this would fall into my culling category due to the shape of the head and somewhat more elongate body. As with all fish being offered, the defects are not presumed genetic at this time, and the main reason for offering these fish is to broaden the size of the F1 population going forward (ensuring genetic stability where possible).
